Now I Know Where To Go To Get Cheap Gas.....

Natrona, Wyoming.

This information brought to you by the fine folks who made a county-by-county gas prices map of the entire continental United States.

You will see from this map why I always stop for gas in South Carolina when I drive between Durham and Atlanta.

Nostalgia moment: remember when gas was less than a buck a gallon?

  • You know, I remember finding gas for 79 cents a gallon and just about passing out when it hit $1.50.

  • Me too! How long ago was that? Couldn't have been more than 5 years.

If my friends can remember it, then it's real.

Also, I am firmly holding to the theory that if my friends can look back and remember the same things that I do, then I'm not old.

  • My first tank of gas cost me 91 cents a gallon. My entire senior year of high school I routinely filled up for under 10 bucks (yes, I have a small tank).

    Sigh...

  • poor poor people paying for some of the cheapest gas that can be had in a first world country. Now, lets all get in the truck and go get some fast food.

  • Fun fact: I've actually filled up with gas in Natrona County, Wyoming (in Casper). But that was several years ago.
