When Lingo Attacks
I read the following line in a weather alert on weather.com:
"Nonflood flooding is occurring." Huh?

As an attorney, I follow canons of construction that lead me to believe all language is intended and has specific meaning, and therefore there is no such thing as nonsensical technical lingo. Either that or I could cite to most of what any legislative body excretes.
