I like this comic. Tom Tomorrow makes a good point without going over the edge and using the Virgina Tech tragedy for political hay.

If they ever post it on the web, The Slant has a pretty good satirical take on the Virginia Tech shootings (along a somewhat similar vein as the comic). It's entitled, "How to Exploit the Virginia Tech Shootings: The Slant's Guide for Insensitive Jackasses". Not spectacular, but given that these events are difficult for any satirist to handle, I think they did pretty well.
